New ILR Change Process

The change process for the 2009/10 individualised learner record has started. It's a brand new process for this year, with a much greater emphasis on transparancy and consultation.

Make sure you are aware of how the process will work by reading the material being submitted to the ILR Change Discussion forum. You can also view a complete list of the ILR change requests that have been submitted and where you can find them on the Forum.

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting feconnect - the social network for those working with data in the further education system.

This site has been developed by the information authority secretariat to provide a platform that can bring everyone within further education, skills and training together. This will enable better consultation and the development of a community through which shared problems can be solved.

One of the key aims for the site is to provide a platform through which we can manage the change process for the individualised learner record. We want to make this as open and transparent a process as possible - and one in which anyone can have their say.

The information authority team will be facilitating this network to ensure that the most is made of any conversations and discussions, by drawing the right people together and ensuring those with knowledge to share are matched up with those who need information. If you have any queries, then your first port of call should be our friendly community facilitators Dave and Paul - feel free to discuss any issues you have with them.

This is your online community. Please experiment with the functionality available, and let us know any suggestions you have to improve things.

I look forward to talking to you all in the future,

Una Bennett

Head of the information authority
